Jay Blossom- Jay Blossom recently finished his 2nd season as head coach at Principia School. In those two years he has guided the Panthers to 46 wins and a 2nd place finish in the 2023 Class 2 State Tournament. Before coming to Principia coach Blossom spent 20 years as head basketball coach at Webster Groves High School. During his twenty years at the helm of the Statesmen basketball program, he has compiled a record of 447-122, won seventeen consecutive conference championships, recorded 16 consecutive twenty plus win seasons, eight district championships, six states quarterfinal appearances, a state record eighty-three consecutive conference wins and the 2008, 2017, and 2018 Missouri Class 5 State Championships. Coach Blossom has been past president of the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association and has had numerous clinician and lecture opportunities, including internationally in Spain and China.
Chris Neff - Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Staley High School just completed his 20th year as a head coach. In those years of coaching at the varsity level he has compiled a 393-169 record. While at Staley over the past 8 seasons his teams have won 5 consecutive conference titles, 4 straight district titles, had a covid canceled Class 5 final four run, a Class 6 third place state finish in 2022, and a Class 6 state championship in 2023. Prior to that Coach Neff led Lafayette High School to 6 district titles, 7 Conference championships, and 3 Final Four Appearances in 9 years. Coach Neff has had a role in developing boys and girls basketball players across the midwest through a number of camps, clinics, and coaching opportunities including the MOKAN Organization. As the head coach of the MOKAN 17U EYBL team, Coach Neff has coached in 3 Nike Peach Jam Invitationals where in 2018 they made it to the final four, and in 2019 they won the national championship!
