1. What happens after I send in my application?
After your application is processed, you will receive correspondence from Snow Valley to the email address you gave in your application. This will be an acceptance letter with all pertinent details, or if camp is full, a notification of such and the opportunity to be on the waiting list if the waiting list is not full.
2. Are the gyms air conditioned?
Every gymnasium used during the Snow Valley Basketball School is air-conditioned.
3. Is payment and registration only done online?
There was a time that we had applications and checks mailed to us to register athletes, but due to technology we have gone completely to online registration and payments. If you need to pay using a check or even cash we are ok with that and you can simply call one of our directors to set that up.
4. How much money should I bring?
The only reasons for additional money while at camp are to purchase camp shorts and various camp shirts at check-in and at check-out. This would be the only reason to have extra money while at camp. We also suggest that you do not bring anything of high value to camp.
5. Where is Snow Valley located and how do I get there?
Principia School 13201 Clayton Rd, Town and Country, MO 63131
Staley High School 2800 Shoal Creek Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64156
6. When can I check in each day?
We will be at the facility anytime after 8:30 am each morning for check in.
7. Do I need a physical?
You do not need a physical to attend camp. The only thing you need to send in is the registration form signed at the bottom with your parents insurance plan. Each athlete must be covered by his or her parents insurance program before participating in camp. A supplementary policy only is in effect. Medical aid is provided by on-site trainers and a doctor is also on call.
8. What if I need to cancel because of a conflict with camp?
Refunds of one half of the tuition will be made for non-medical reasons before June 1. All non-medical cancellations after June 1 will forfeit the amount of tuition. A complete tuition refund will be made for medical reasons, less a $50 administrative fee, and requests must be accompanied by a physician's letter of explanation. Any participant who leaves school during the first three days due to injury will receive pro-rated credit.
